If you are promoting a product or service, writing a product review is a great way to pre-sell. If someone is considering the product or service you are promoting, writing a personal, candid product review could just be the difference between making a sale or not making the sale.

A thorough and comprehensive product review will give your viewers all the information they need to help them make a decision as to whether a product is suited for them. It will also give them a much clearer picture as to whether a product will provide them with what they are actually looking for or perhaps not looking for. 

Your product review should never be “salesy” or full of hype, instead it should include real honest to goodness features, benefits and considerations  …good or bad
 
Comparing products is also a great approach. Instead of reviewing a single product you can contrast and compare two similar products giving your viewer an accurate picture of the differences as well as what your preferences are.  This is a powerful sales tool and works extremely well for helping buyers make that final decision to buy. In all likelihood one product will stand out among the other as the clear choice for your reader.
