Have you ever tried to come up with a new invention? It’s not as easy today as it was several years ago. My husband has always been kind of an ‘idea guy’ but even he has a tough time with new inventions and ideas.
Not being able to come up with new inventions should never discourage you, instead build your business by simply improving on existing ideas and make those improvements our own.
One way to capitalize on this idea is to know your competitor and know them well. Let’s face it, we’re all in competition. If you have a business, then you are competing with everyone else who has a similar business.
Why reinvent the wheel? Look at what your competitors are doing and simply do it better. I’m not talking about industrial espionage, I think that’s illegal, but it’s perfectly legal to evaluate how a competitor markets their products in places like the internet. You can follow their methods but also find ways to improve on those methods.
