Productive Keyword Research – Cool Free Report!

by Ms. Liz on May 31, 2011

productive keyword researchDo you cringe at the thought of doing keyword research?  That’s OK, a lot of people do.

But now productive keyword research just got easier with this awesome free report that takes you through every step of the keyword research process.

Many people I talk to don’t do any type of keyword research at all,  and that’s obvious from looking at their dismal search engine rankings.

Keyword research doesn’t have to be confusing or super time consuming, but it does have to be part of your internet marketing process.  That is if you want your customers to find you, if you want to stay competitive and increase revenues, and I know you do :-)

Over the weekend I received a cool free report from Karon Thackston called ‘Demystifying Keyword Research‘.  I finally had time to read it this morning over my first cup of coffee and I liked it.

The report is only 21 pages long, so it’s a quick read, but the real value of this report is that it takes you through every step of the keyword research process using examples found in Google’s keyword tool and Wordtracker.

Karon demonstrates using those tools mainly because they are the two most popular tools for effective keyword research.  They’re also the tools I use for obvious reasons, as you’ll see in the report.

But there are also a few mistakes that many people make when it comes to using keyword tools because they don’t totally understand where the keyword tools get their data.  Not all keyword research tools get the same data from the same places.  Nor do they interpret their numbers the same way.

Three pages into the report you’ll understand these differences and how each tool determines their results.  That’s going to help you significantly in understanding what tools to use and how the results can help you.

Karon also addresses a few popular keyword research questions. These are questions I’ve had myself,  things like:

  • How do I choose the right keywords for your website, web pages, blog posts, articles, etc. ?
  • Which types of keywords are the best?
  • How many keyword searches are enough?

… and the answers are easy to understand :-)

The guide also covers things like:

  • How search counts alone can be deceiving
  • The relevancy of keywords

Get your free copy of the report today.  Karon’s also tossing in a free copy of her ‘Copywriting makeovers‘ .  This is also an exceptional free guide on real world SEO copywriting tips that will demonstrate how to write copy for more sales conversions and better search engine positioning.   A must read in my opinion.

Both of these reports are awesome so grab them while they’re still free.

Thanks Ms. Liz, I thought I knew everything there was about keyword research but I learned new things with the report. For example, when using Wordtracker to multiply the results by 200.

I deal with finding keywords every week, I often refer to it as mining for keywords. Seems like this Demystifying Keywork Research would definitely be a good read, even for an SEO expert like myself. Thanks for your suggestion.
