One awesome strategy I use for higher search engine ranking, more traffic and overall great profits is making use of social marketing on Squidoo.
But to be honest, my attempt at social marketing on Squidoo failed miserably. I needed some help.
That’s when I came across Tiffany Dow’s “Social Networking on Squidoo’. Tiffany is one of my favorite writers and social marketers, so naturally her guide got my attention.
Squidoo’s not a difficult social marketing platform to use but there’s a lot more to it than meets the eye, which I found out
What first drew my attention to Squidoo was back when I was looking for more ways on how to promote affiliate products as I had been hearing that Squidoo was a great promotional strategy for affiliates. So I jumped on Squidoo, created my first Squidoo page. But then I pretty much forgot it after that.
Since recently reading Tiffany’s book I went back to take a look at my Squidoo page and found that it had virtually no visitors since putting them up. Nothing, Nada, Zip.
Not surprising since I really wasn’t using it to its full potential so it was at that moment that I decided I really need to master this strategy.
The Potential of Social Marketing on Squidoo
Tiffany’s guide was a real revelation in how pathetically basic my Squidoo page was, no wonder why I hadn’t gotten any visitors or views. There were tons of things I wasn’t aware of and easy modifications that I could put to use right away.
The guide is about 75 pages of pure meat on how to use Squidoo effectively, no fluff in this publication. 75 pages may seem like a lot, but that should also tell you something about Squidoo and its social marketing potential.
I know now that Squidoo is a powerful networking tool but if, and only if, you use it to its full potential. I on the other hand, had no clue on how to use it, obviously
but if I’m making the mistake of using Squidoo to its least potential, how many others are doing the same thing and then discarding it as a less than worthy tool? Probably a lot.
What Tiffany’s guide so perfectly points out is that social marketing on Squidoo has the potential to help you get top ranking in the search engine results pages.
I wasted a lot of time fumbling on my own but Tiffany demonstrates some great examples, which by the way anyone can easily duplicate. I don’t mean copy her stuff but copy her strategies, they’re brilliant.
A lot of the magic of Squidoo is adding modules and using them effectively. Tiffany breaks down each module for you and gives you the specific formula and must have modules for boosting your business. These are things I never would have figured out on my own.
You’ll find plenty of the best marketing strategies and how to effectively apply them to Squidoo, for example how to target your audience, using keywords and phrases to tag and release your lenses.
You’ll also get a simple 1 month plan for managing your socialization on Squidoo.
The thing about social marketing on Squidoo or any social marketing platform is if you don’t understand it, it can be overwhelming, time consuming and confusing. Finding someone like Tiffany who has made a career of helping you weed through the stuff and get to the core of what you need to know is what makes this training guide such an extraordinary one – and you get it in bite-size chunks.
The package comes with the main guide of course, but it’s loaded with bonus information that includes…
- An audio of Tiffany being grilled, I mean interviewed
, by Yanik Silver - An instruction guide on how to build and sell lenses on Squidoo
- 5 instructional videos
- 10 Hot Squidoo lens ideas
- Bonus guide “The Multi-Layered Mindset of Web 2.0 Marketing”
What summed it all up for me was a great quote from Tiffany’s bonus guide:
“If you’re still trying to create endless publications on static websites and generate a sticky page, then you’re a caveman living in the dark ages. You might be able to stay afloat for a little while longer, isolating yourself from your target audience and selling backend products to loyal existing customers, everything set on autopilot… but soon, you’ll be extinct.”
Checkout Tiff’s Social Networking on Squidoo guide. It’s a social networking guide that will makes social networking on Squidoo easier and more effective and has the potential to boost your traffic and your reach.
