Hopefully you've begun to read Jimmy D. Brown's free report

This is an excellent guide to showing you ten ways to earn substantial income each and every month. In this series we'll cover each method in a little more depth so that you can get a better idea of how each one works.
Jimmy's first strategy is to create and sell your own information products. Information products are an ideal way to generate a monthly income simply because you create them once and sell them forever.
It all starts with brainstorming your interests and gathering ideas. Of course you'll need to research the market and your competition which is vital to creating a quality report that will sell. Sounds like a lot of work but it's not as bad as you think. Here are some ideas to get you started finding profitable niches.

Your product should either address a common problem and provide a solution or it should instruct someone on how to do something. Either one is a great option for creating in-demand reports.
Don't let yourself be discouraged by existing competitors or that what you want to write about already exists. Take the weight loss niche for example, there are thousands of weight loss products and none of them were scared off by the competition, instead they all figured out ways to make their products stand out above the crowd.
Once you've decided on what to write about, start writing. This can be the toughest part for most people. Jimmy suggests turning off your phone, shutting down your email and simply start typing. But also set a goal to make sure you crank out a certain number of words or pages a day. Keep on a schedule until the project is completed.
You may not think of yourself as a writer or even someone that has the time to get it all done but don't let that stop you. Any project that can bring thousands of dollars a month is worth getting done. If you can't do it yourself, outsource it. Jimmy recommends Outsource Weekly.
Keep your reports comprehensive and avoid fluff. Be specific, be direct and make it easy to understand. Write about what you already know, if you have gaps simply research those gaps. But also remember your report does not need to be huge. A 25 page report that sells for $17 is much more likely to attract attention than a massive 200 page report that sell for $97, honestly, which one would you buy?
If you're completely stumped on getting your ideas written down, Jimmy's free infoprofitshare report is an excellent place to start to pick up some great tips.
A favorite of mine that I've used over and over to get my reports written quickly and without headaches is Jonathon Ledger's 'Write that Report'. It sells for $7 but that's pocket change for what it delivers on helping you produce marketable reports quickly. You can also make money with this report yourself.

Next, you'll need to set up a website and lead-capture system, this is where most people get stuck. If you're new to setting up a website you may want to start with setting up a blog.

If you still need other ideas I make some ideal suggestions here:

The next thing you'll need is a mailing list and a reliable autoresponder. I use Aweber which is the best in the industry, here's where you can get a free trial.
Jimmy mentions that your fortune isn't likely to lie in creating just one product, in fact you should think of creating a series of products. That's where your mailing list and autoresponder come in. Keeping in touch with visitors and existing buyers gives you the flexibility for backend marketing. Capturing site visitors is how you continue your promotion efforts, of course once someone buys from you, they are very likely to buy again, especially if the liked what they purchased the first time.

My Best,
Ms. Liz
