It is …but there’s a catch

If you own an internet home business it is. You CAN actually make money while you sleep, or while on vacation, playing with the kids or taking a day off.

The great thing about the internet is that it’s working for you 7/24, even if you’re not.

But does that mean there’s no work involved? That’s the catch!

There’s no such thing as money with no work, unless you win the lottery, but that’s not a reality for most of us.

The ‘make money while you sleep‘ concept can only happen AFTER the work is done. But there are some tricks and techniques that can help you build those systems to optimize, maximize, and multiply your efforts so that you truly do the work once and get paid forever.

Do you know what they are?

Before you answer that, have a little fun and take this 60-second, 10-question, multiple-choice quiz that will reveal which techniques you need to master to give you more control of your business and maximize your efforts.

It will also help you discover some of the things you don’t know yet, no matter whether you’re an advanced marketer or a complete beginner.

Have you noticed the numbers of freelance jobs for data entry that are popping on the web?

For example, there data entry jobs that include article typists, audio transcribers, marketing typists, even virtual assistants.

But if you’re someone looking for these opportunities , how do you find data entry jobs that provide legitimate work and will pay you?

There are lots of ways to find freelance jobs for data entry. but actually finding legitimate jobs isn’t always so easy.

Unfortunately scams often rise to the surface and the real jobs go to people who have more marketing expertise and solid reputations.

Having had no luck you may think that creating a website and promoting your services is probably the ideal way to go but what if you don’t have the time or the expertise to build and promote a website? And what if you need income quickly?

If that sounds all too familiar, here’s what might help…

Jobs for Data Entry, as with any job, Starts with a Plan

Everything has to start with a plan and careful thought. Know what skills and services you want to offer and make a list of why someone should hire you for those skills.

What have you done in the past? What type of job did you have that effectively used those skills, etc. Re-examine your resume and highlight the things that will make you stand out above the crowd.

Next, think about who the people are that you want to service. Will this be other stay at home moms working a business, corporate clients, web designers, web writers, home business workers, etc. Who are the people you want to target? Think about their needs and how you can help them in their business.

- Have Confidence in Yourself

No one will get a job if you don’t exude confidence in yourself. Be proud of who you are and what you can do, no matter how simple the task. If you don’t have confidence in yourself you can’t expect others to have confidence in you.

- Tread Lightly

Don’t run out on a whim and quit your job. If you are leaving a job to start a business, you’re not likely to get paid until you get some work so have an emergency fund ready that will pay your bills while your starting your freelance career.

Also have some money to dedicated to business start-up costs in case you need it. Once you begin to pick up a few jobs and you begin seeing some obvious growth potential, then you can consider quitting your job, but I don’t suggest doing it before then.

Investigate Freelance jobs for Data Entry Carefully

If something sounds too good to be true, it probably is, so use your good judgement. No one will pay you $75 for ten minutes of work. It’s just not realistic.

Stuffing envelopes, assemblers needed, medical billing that requires you pay money up front, getting paid to send chain letters/emails are all examples of scams.

Don’t ever respond to ads that advertise jobs for data entry that want to send you training materials you pay for. Typically this will be a book telling you how to post the same ad that you responded to.

If you find a job that looking interesting, carefully look over the website that posts the job. How does the site strike you? Does it look legitimate.

Be especially careful of things that say you need a large balance before they’ll pay you or there’s no contact info. If there is contact information, use it. Ask lots of questions and make sure you get answers. If you don’t get timely informative answers, avoid them.

Check out all data entry jobs and companies you come across on forums. Ask others if they have used them or use one of my favorite sites to ask questions, wahm.com.

Connect Socially

When finding job on your own, go where the market is and hang out there often. Get online with Facebook and Twitter and start promoting yourself and your services.

If you have already done work for someone, keep in touch with them. Send a social email to them once a month or so just to say and remind them that you’re still available for work should they need it. Run specials on your pricing now and then and promote that socially. Staying in touch is good customer service.

Follow what others in your field of service are doing by joining niche forums and blogs, but, don’t just lurk on these forums and blogs, participate in discussions going on. This is how you can make useful connections with others to find opportunities to grow your business.

Also try offering a free sample for new clients who aren’t too sure about you so that they can get a taste of your work. This gives them a nice opportunity to see your work first. It can be a bit of a gamble, but one that often pays off.

Still Getting Nowhere and Feeling Overwhelmed?

If you’ve been at this for awhile and you’re feeling overwhelmed, don’t be discouraged.

A highly respected colleague of mine, Laura Kauth of Online data entry jobs, has a risk free trial to her personal assistance program for data entry positions.

Laura’s program includes a complete job description for each of the Work-from-Home Data-Entry Jobs she offers.

Laura does charge a modest fee, very modest, but as a member, Laura will train you, find you the jobs and tell you what the pay is and and exactly when you will be paid.

You won’t be getting links to jobs that you have to find yourself. That’s not what Laura is about. Her modest fee is for her training and experience and she actually gives you the jobs for free, but it’s your responsibility to do them as she shows you.

You can expect a lot from Laura, but she also expects a few things from you.

You must be 18 years of age, have a reliable computer and access to the internet.

You must be willing to do the work and follow directions.

The beauty of this program is that you have nothing to lose with her 30 day risk free trial. Not happy? Simply get your money back.

Finding jobs on your own, understanding how to do them to an employer’s satisfaction and wondering whether or not you’ll even get paid, can be scary, but taking that bold step of faith with someone that guarantees success is a much more worthwhile method.

Take a minute and read Laura’s Online Data Entry jobs. If you’re just starting out online or have been scammed in the past, you don’t have anything to lose here.

Whenever I ask someone if they want to work from home, they almost always say ‘YES!‘.

Most people don’t want to work for someone else. Which brings me to why I’m writing this post, if you want to work from home, get on the web!

If you’re thinking about quitting your job and working from home you certainly have a lot of choices, but as an internet business owner myself, working on the web has three basic benefits, it doesn’t require any previous skills, it’s not hard (it takes effort but it’s not hard), it’s cheap to get started and there’s no commute!

Most folks I talk to who have thought about working on the web often say they don’t know what they would do online or they seem unsure about how the web can really make money for them. They’re also concerned a little about how much they will have to learn.

My favorite question came in from a woman who asked me if working on the web was legal and if I had to be little sheisty to actually make any money. Yikes, cut me to the quick!

Let me assure you that working on the web is legal and you can’t be a sheister, honesty being genuine is the only way to be successful online.

I won’t lie to you, there may be a learning curve for many people, but that often depends on your web experience. But if you like working in front of a computer and you like expanding your knowledge base, anyone can learn this stuff. One of the favorite sayings among the internet marketing community is “This isn’t rocket science!” …and it’s not, really!

If working on the web sounds great to you but you need to make money now; please understand that creating a successful internet business is a process; it takes time. Anyone that says you can make millions on the web in just a few weeks is being less than honest, but it is doable with a little focus, patience and persistence.

There are a few ways work from home on the web that are a little quicker than others. For example, doing data entry from home. There are thousands of internet businesses that need services like data entry, writing articles, editing documents, virtual assistance, etc.

But don’t get on board with just any freelance outfit. Get involved with legitimate companies that can help prepare you, find you jobs that actually pay and are guaranteed. If you are truly serious about working from home and finding data entry jobs that are in par with your skills, pay a fair wage and give you the kind of work you are looking for, get in touch with Laura Kauth at Data entry online jobs. I love Laura because she guarantees her services and she’s amazingly affordable.

My Personal Advice for working from home

If you’re someone that needs that needs a consistent income and doesn’t mind working for someone else, the internet may not be the best option for you. But if you’re a stay at home mom, a student, a retiree or a physically handicapped individual, getting on the web and exploring the possibilities could help you establish a part time or full time income.

Personally, the rewards of working home on the web are exciting. It’s been pure enjoyment and I’ve been blessed to be able to do what I love and make money at it too. If you’d like to at least try your hand at working from home on the web, my free getting started guide is an awesome place to start. If you have questions or need personal assistance, I’m all to happy to help you out.
