22 Interesting Blog Post Ideas Any Niche Can Use

For example you might have tons of blog post ideas in the beginning, but after a few weeks or maybe a few months, you might find it difficult to come up with new, fresh ideas.

For those days here are 22 unusual post ideas  that can be applied to any blog, regardless of the niche.

1. Post a list of interesting quotes you’ve heard related to your niche.

2. Read news related to your blog’s topic. If there’s nothing in the top headlines, search Google News or your favorite news website. that you can share your thoughts on.

3. Write about and comment on case studies that others have performed in your niche or a related niche.

4. Write a post about a few things you wish you’d done differently or wish you had previously known about  that’s affected your business.

5. Write about a pet peeve you have that your readers can relate to.

6. List some of the misconceptions that people have with regard to your niche.

7. Make a list of your favorite blogs and what you like about them or what makes them unique.

8. Make a list of forums that your audience would be interested in visiting.

9. Email 4 or 5 people you know a few inquisitive questions and post their answers.  These don’t have to be niche experts, but try to get people that will provide interesting answers.

10.  What things do you spend money on in  you niche?

11. Describe your best day as a blogger or your worst day.

12. Tell a story by posting a set of pictures.

13. As a fun exercise write 10 weird things about you and invite readers to add their weird things.

14. Create a post that asks a simple question. Not everyone will comment, but many love the opportunity to share their opinions, so give them the chance.

15.  Write a post about where you see your niche topic in the future.

16. Display in a post some of the best or unusual comments you’ve received.

17.  Write 5 things you love about your niche, conversely write 5 things you hate about you niche.

18. Discuss a problem you’ve run into recently and how you handled it.

19. Find a related YouTube video and simply comment on it.

20. Write a top ten list related to your niche. How about a list of the top ten books, top ten most popular products or top ten blogs.

21. Do a how-to post. Find a subject that will be useful to your regular readers, but also has the potential to attract new readers. These types of posts generally get lots of search engine traffic!

22. Make a list of the top 10 blogs you find annoying.

Sometimes blog post ideas flow freely. Other times you have to put your thinking cap on, but this is list you can always use to get the ideas at least flowing.

    Posting quotes related to your niche or industry shows readers that you’re in the loop when it comes to current issues or news. It shows that you keep your ears on the ground, and that you could have something substantial to write about.

    Hey Train, I can completely relate to what you are saying. No matter how many ideas you have there are just some days you can’t get the thoughts out :-( If there are days I feel creative I try to write as much as I can and save it for when I need a piece of content. When I can’t write sometimes just posting a fun joke, cartoon or funny video can fill in the gaps. Good luck to you :-)
