My name is Liz McGee and I’m so glad you stopped by.

Who the Heck is Liz McGee

I’m a full time  internet home business owner. I’ve also got two great kids and have been blessed with the most wonderful husband any woman could ask for.

For the past 8+ years I’ve been working my internet business that I created from scratch.  My income is generated primarily from affiliate marketing efforts and through creating my own informational products.

But let me just back up a minute and talk about how I got here.

I’ve always been a working mom, even from the day my kids were born I had a career working with companies like National Semiconductor, Hitachi and others.  I’ve always loved working but never loved the huge demands, the stress, the politics and the thankless effort that I put into my work. 

I knew I could do better.

That was about the time when the internet began to take the world by storm. It was  also a time I saw huge potential and opportunity for creating my own business.

So I took a very scary leap of faith, built my first website and began my internet marketing career.

Unfortunately I wasn’t an automatic success.  I made all the same mistakes I see people make every day, jumping from opportunity to opportunity and following promises of riches that do nothing for your success or your self-esteem.  Failure is never easy, but it’s a powerful wake up call

I knew that in order to be successful I had to find focus, create a good plan and stay on course until I became profitable.  Focus and determination became my motto and it still is.

Those disciplines are what brought me here today where I generate a passive income from my affiliate sites, informational sites and ebooks I’ve written.

What Homenotion is all About

Because I’ve been able to make money with my internet business I’ve drawn the attention of my family and friends who have turned to me for help in doing the same.   Mentoring people one on one quickly turned into writing about how I make money and how I can use my expertise to help others, and I so enjoy it!

I’ll be the first to admit that starting an internet home business can be scary and I can’t guarantee you’ll be successful, no one can, but if you’re willing to commit, maintain a positive attitude and stay focused, you CAN do this.
