If you work or play on the internet you're probably getting lots of email about the internet and where it's going for 2009.
All the gurus are making their predictions about where internet marketing is going, what the hot products will be, how many new internet businesses will emerge, etc. It happens every year.
With the poor economy and the worry over job loss, I'm just wondering what your personal thoughts are. Where do you think the internet is headed? Will internet marketing become more of an interest for you or are you giving up on it?

Liz, I am glad you asked. One of my predictions for 2009 is while the economy may suffer, those of us online will be joined by newcomers who have lost their jobs or offline businesses. I also think we will see more offline business promoting online to expand their market.
Now …(us seasoned marketers) just have to strategize about who is left to buy our products and services.
Just kidding, there is enough market share for all of us. I won’t be giving up on it internet marketing anytime soon.
If you don’t mind, just one more prediction – the newcomers will be more difficult to promote offers to than the “newbies” of past days. They will be doing their research and they definitely don’t want “fluff”.
Thank goodness for Web 2.0 and social netwworking, it is right on time…This has actually leveled the playing field for ordinary internet marketers. The experts (gurus) will be fine and continue to do well financially because of the strength of their long held subscriber lists and diversification avenues they have and will continue to take.
That wraps up my prediction for the upcoming year. Feel free to make a dontation to my paypal account. (just keeping a sense of humor).
