Whenever I ask someone if they want to work from home, they almost always say 'YES!'.
Of course I'll sometimes get the "I really love my job' person, but for the most part people don't want to have to commute every day working for someone else. After all, getting up every morning is a lot easier when the commute is just a few steps away, there's no time pressure and your schedule is your own.
If you'd like to work from home there are a lot of options. In fact I was reading just today about how to start a dog poop removal service, sounds interesting but not something I'd like very much
I even have a close friend that has a dog walking service, of course poop scooping may come with the territory on that one but she's very busy and she gets plenty of exercise; who doesn't need that!
If you really do your homework though, there are also plenty of other work from home options, things like an errand service, lawn care, grocery service, Tupperware parties, home goods parties, etc., etc.
For me however, none of those options are very appealing. I'm not someone who loves giving home parties and I'm also not a big physical doer, I much prefer reading and writing. My lawn chair amidst my back yard flowers reading a book or working on my laptop is my ideal work from home job.
For me, I simply love the internet. I like creating websites, I like writing and I like helping others do the same thing. That may sound boring to some, even repulsive, but it's been a dream come true for me. I don't have to answer to anyone except myself, I can do exactly what I want, when I want and I get to write which is what I love. Of course you have to mix that with the right amount of self discipline but for the most part it's worked well for me.
Most folks I talk to who have thought about working on the web often say they don't know what they would do online or they seem unsure about how the web can really make money for them. They're also concerned a little about how much they will have to learn. My favorite question one time was from a woman who asked me if working on the web was legal and if I had to be little sheisty to actually make any money. Yikes! that cut me to the quick.
Let me assure you that working on the web is legal and you can't be sheisty, in fact honesty and being genuine is the only way to be successful online. For most people there can be a learning curve but that often depends on your web experience. But if you like working in front of a computer and you like expanding your knowledge base, I'm betting you'll learn quickly. Come to think of it, one of the favorite sayings among the internet marketing community is "This isn't rocket science!"
If working on the web sounds great to you but you need to make money, like tomorrow; I would have to tell you that if you're looking to create your own internet home business, then understand it's a process and it will take time. Creating a profitable business whether online or off won't happen overnight.
If you simply want to 'make money online' there are a few ways to do it quickly. For example, you can sell things that you already have on eBay or Craig's List or you could offer services like data entry, writing articles or editing documents that you can find doing freelance work from home.
In summary, If you're someone that needs a high paying career and doesn't mind working for someone else, the internet may not be the best option for you. But if you're a stay at home mom, a student or a retired or physically handicapped individual, getting on the web and exploring the possibilities could bring you financial freedom.
It may take a few months and you may have to learn a few new things but the rewards are exciting. For me it's just plain pure enjoyment and I've been blessed to be able to do what I love and make money at it too.

Hello,
I work from home, it has some advantages working from home, but sometimes i feel lonely, I cant wait for to go out for a cup of coffee with my friend. After the coffee I come home and I work till 5pm, and after 5 pm I don’t want to want to see my PC again
I hear you Aaron, I think that’s how it is for a lot of folks. You can feel isolated, especially if you’re use to the office environment where people are around all the time and you have a chance to be more social. I have to say that for me, I don’t miss it. In fact I often feel lost when I’m not on my PC. In fact I’m on it all the time. I know, “get a life”, right?
