3 Tips That Make Blogging Easy

by Ms. Liz on April 22, 2010

If you’re a Blogger you need to add fresh, unique content to your blog on a regular, consistent basis to be effective.

For some Bloggers that's not such an easy task.  In fact, it's funny how some bloggers find it super difficult to blog regularly while others find blogging easy and blog every day, even blog 2 or 3 times a day.

Now before you become too envious of those that find blogging easy, I've got a few secrets that many of those ‘every day’ bloggers use, not only to make their blogging easier but give them the content and ideas they need.

1. Use Private Label Rights Content.  For a long time I resisted using PLR because I wasn't convinced it would really help me, after all how good can an article pack of 6 articles for $15 really be?

The truth is you can literally become a blogging machine using PLR content. A PLR article, ebook or guide for example, has ideas, tips or facts that I can break into several separate blog posts. The content itself isn't very interesting and might be a little dull but I can quickly spruce it up a bit with my own ideas, comments and experiences.

Ideas come a lot easier when writing from a base PLR article and it doesn't take me more than about 15 minutes to get it looking like a blog post I can be proud of.

When using PLR never use it right out of the box. Customization is how to use private label rights content effectively. This takes some extra time and thought but it's a far cry from the alternative of staring blankly into my computer screen trying to come up with ideas and information that could take me literally all day.

One word of caution when using PLR content is there’s a lot of junk out there. By junk I mean the content is repetitive, has poor grammar and it often doesn’t contain much meat or good information. It's taken me the better part of last year to find good PLR content that actually gives me what I need and still saves me time, but I'm glad I did because it's what makes blogging easy for me.

2. Write your blog content in advance. Once you write your content, save it so that it’s ready to be posted every day or schedule it to post automatically.

When you have time to write, try to write enough blog content that will take you through several days of the week. If you are using WordPress it has a nifty publishing tool where  you can schedule your posts to publish on specific days and times. This means that on those days when you do not have the time to write, you can still post fresh content to your blog.

3. Hire a virtual assistant to put the final touches on your content.  VA's are wonderful and they are such a big help to a busy Blogger.  You can write a dozen quick and easy blog posts, shoot them off to your Virtual Assistant and she can make them look good.  She'll correct spelling, grammar errors and syntax and also check for logical flow.  You can even have your VA post your content to your blog for you ~ huge time saver.

Blogging has become a lot easier for me with just these few tips and it's certainly relieved for me the stress and lost time that most bloggers struggle with.  Hope they help you as well :-)

Great tips, Liz. I only recently discovered PLR, and it has already made my life easier

Great Revka! I love using PLR mainly for the time saving benefit and also for avoiding the headache of finding what to write about ;-)
