Quality Content for Your Blog, Newsletter or Ezine

Your Internet Business revolves around one thing: Content. You need content and articles for your blog, newsletter or ezine and if you happen to use article marketing as a free advertising method you need even more quality articles.

So, before you give up completely, let me share a few ideas with you that may help you not only get the job done but also give you some free time to boot.

When looking for articles, I have a few pretty good options for you.  I'll start with my favorites…

Grab some Free Reprint Articles at the Article Directories
Article directories like EzineArticles.com, LadyPens.com and ArticleBase.com are packed with quality articles that you can reprint on your site. The only requirements are that you do not edit the article in any way and that you include the author's resource box or bio at the end of the article.

It's a win-win situation. The author gets free advertising and you get free content, but… there are a few negatives to using these articles:

Issue #1 -  Duplicate content. This isn’t really isn’t a problem if you use the content in your ezine or newsletter since duplicate content is only an issue with the search engines. It’s also not an issue for your blog or website if you write an introduction paragraph to the article and sum it up with a closing paragraph or recommendation at the end.

Issue #2 – It’s difficult to find quality content. Gone are the days of grabbing any old free reprint article. You want Expert Content only – and many of the article directories have  articles that are less than satisfactory.

• Issue #3 -  Posting those darn author resource box links. You're advertising for someone else for free!

But don’t despair, here are a few remedies:

Use Extra-Special Free Reprint Articles
Many ebook owners and other marketers with affiliate programs offer articles with a twist. You get to replace the link(s) in the author resource box with YOUR affiliate link for that program.

Here you'll find many articles that meet those criteria:  http://freeaffiliatearticles.com/wp/

Of course if you have a favorite Expert that regularly offers reprint articles, ask if this is an option for you. That way, the expert still gets free advertising and you, the publisher, get great content. But now you can also benefit by earning affiliate commissions as well.

Write the Articles Yourself
Of course you can certainly write some of your web content yourself, in fact I highly recommend that you try to write as much of your own content as you can, especially if you are trying to establish yourself as an authority in your niche.

But you can also post quality content to your website without having to write all of it yourself.  The difference in the options below is that YOU become the expert, rather than endorsing someone else as the expert.

Hire a Quality Ghostwriter or Copywriter
A ghostwriter is a freelancer who writes for you (usually articles or reports), but you take the credit.
A copywriter specializes in writing copy that sells, and you usually take the credit.

There are many sites on the web where you can find writers. Start by asking around at forums or go to sites like elance.com (a job posting site) or Shelancers.com (a directory of freelancers) and look around. Having a ghostwriter that you can tap into now and then will keep your blog fresh and active.

My personal Favorite: Stock up on PLR articles
PLR articles stands for Private Label Right’s articles. PLR articles are usually written by a ghostwriter and are typically sold in packs of limited numbers.  You can purchase PLR articles, edit and publish them without being required to link back to anyone or give anyone credit for writing them. You become the expert when using PLR articles.

You are free to customize the articles, tweak them for your market, insert examples or photos or case studies and publish them on your website — or just use them as they are. Either way, you have plenty of flexibility when working with PLR. But the big benefit is that PLR is very affordable, you can get article packs of 5 articles or more for $10 or less.

So, how do you Find a Good PLR Service?

I use a lot of PLR so I've scoped out plenty of PLR sites.  Most of them are just mediocre but many of them are terrible. Below are the sites I've come to use on a regular basis. Between them all I get a well rounded choice of articles, posts, courses and tips that keep my websites, blogs and newsletters hopping with well written and informative content:
