How focused are you on your customers?  This can be a really eye-opening exercise.  How your website is perceived by your visitors can be the difference between viewers that stay on your site and visitors that click off.  Take their simple test by entering your website URL and see how you score. It's easy & it's fast.

Google Adwords free editor tool

AdWords Editor is Google's free, downloadable Adwords management Tool. You can download your AdWords account to your computer and create, edit or make your changes, then upload your changes back to Adwords.  I has helped me get better organized with Google Adwords and that alone helps me increase sales.

Free 'Quick screen capture' Tool
 'Quick Screen Capture' is a free download tool that lets you capture a screen or a portion of a screen  and place what you captured in your newsletter, website or e-book.  It's a great tool to help demonstrate to your readers an example of what you are referring to.  This is a completely free and safe tool to download.  I use it all the time and love it.

Affiliate Program search engine
Enter your niche or market and find relevant affiliate programs
This search engine isn't perfect, it has some ad sites but you can find relevant affiliate program sites. It also it can also refine your search to find results based on pay per action, pay per lead, pay per click and 2 tier programs.

Make your page links visible to a search engines
Not all content and links on a webpage are actually visible to the Search Engines, eg. Flash based content, content generated through javascript,  content displayed as images etc.

This tool simulates a Search Engine by displaying the contents of a webpage exactly how a Search Engine would see it. It also shows you all the pages on your site that are spidered.

Free Directory Listings
This site lists free directories where you can list your Web site.  All these directories are free (some require that you link back to them or apartner site).  Some of these directories have paid submission options.

Marketleap
I love marketleap because they offer so many cool, free search engine tools and services. Pay particular attention to the 'Free Search Engine Marketing Tools' on the first page. 

Click on Search Engine Saturation. Enter your site's URL, as well as the URLs of a few of your competitors, if you choose. Enter the secret  code, and click Generate Report. You'll learn how many of your pages are indexed in each of the different engines.  Click on each of the numbers for the various engines. You'll see which pages each of the engines has indexed. For example, if you have 100 product pages but Google only shows 50 pages indexed, this will show that you have a problem

Google Fight
This is a fun one.  Do you ever wonder which keywords for a particular subject are most popular?  'Google Fight' lets you enter 2 keywords or phrases and compare the results. For example, let's say you have a site about shoes and you want to know what phrase people search for the most, 'walking shoes' or 'running shoes'.  Enter those keywords into Google fight and you can find out fast.

Google Pos
Find out how your site ranks for a specific keyword or keyphrase.

Site Links Validator
Are Your Links Working? If you have a large number of links on your site, it can be a nightmare to maintain. Give them a periodic check with the W3C link checking tool and make sure they are all working correctly.

Free Survey Software
It's important to know what your viewers need and want and running a survey is the best place to get that information.  Besides, people love answering questions and it gives you priceless information. Survey Monkey is an easy to use survey software that lets you create as many surveys as you like for free. I actually use it a lot.
