If you've been less than happy with your search engine ranking results, you may need a few new strategies to experiment with.
Try these SEO Creative tips; they could just turn things around for you…
1. Review your site for Deep Linking
Strive to achieve incoming links to pages other than your home page.
For example, when writing articles, exchanging links or posting to blogs consider referencing the pages of your site that most pertain to the content you're writing about. Do this as opposed to referencing your home page link. This will help direct traffic to important sales pages or other pages that you want to generate traffic to. This tells the search engines that you have LOTS of worthwhile content on your site.
2. Article exchanges
Exchanging articles is a little like exchanging links only better. If you publish someone else's article they get a link back to your site, then if you send them one of your articles to publish on your site, you get a link on their site. This not only provides high quality links for both of you, it provides you with content as well.
3. Ongoing Keyword Research
Keep monitoring your keywords and tweak them every so often. Keyword search terms can change over time as products, ideas and practices change. Keeping up with the latest in keyword research is part of a good keyword optimization best practices approach.
4. Use Your Keywords in your Link's anchor text
Use your primary and secondary keywords in the anchor text of links when linking to other blog posts or to other pages of your blog. Keywords in your links carry more weight than simple text.
5. Use a site map
Not very creative but important. Whether you have a big or small site, use a site map and place a link to your site map on every page of your site. This helps the search engine robots find every page of your site with just two clicks.
6. Use alt image tags
Include an image tag for your images and put your relevant keywords there. An example would be "brown sandals graphic" or "red shoes image" use words like graphic or image so that search engines won't view them as spam.
7. Add header tags (h1, h2, h3)
Add one header tag (h1) and place your most important keyword there. The header tag should be as far towards the top of your page as possible.
When Google reads a webpage, it views the text from the top left hand side of the page to the bottom right hand side of the page. So, it's best to place your (h1) header tag on the top left hand or top or middle portion of your page. This is most often why some websites place their sidebar on the right side side of the page instead of the left.
Think of an (h1) header tag as a title for whatever content you have on your page. Similarly put your secondary keywords in h2 header.
8. Make Your Content Really Count
Always write your content in your OWN WORDS. Your content will always fair a lot better if it's original and reflects your own personal writing style. This also makes it easier to generate unique and creative writing. Besides, some search engine robots are programmed to skip over content that is an exact copy of another page.
9. Make an outline of your site
Think clearly about what topics, sub-topics and categories you want to include on your site. Consistency is important. Also don't open a new page in a new window. Unless you are sending someone off your site, keep your own site pages in the same window.
10. Consider complementing your site with a blog
Blogs are easy to create and nicely complement any website. Your blog does not need to be updated every day but consistency is a good thing. For example, if you're on a once a week schedule make sure you update once a week, preferably at the same time each week.
Search engines favor blogs because the content is easily refreshed with user comments, so encourage feedback on your blog by asking questions, provoking a bit of controversy and making comments that encourage responses.

#9 writing the content in own words I feel, reflects about the uniqueness of a blog. No two bloggers write in the same way, each blogger has his or her own style of writing. Content will always be king so its important for a writer to show that uniqueness.
