Start with a well written, hot topic, niche article related to your topic of interest and distribute it to article directories like Ezinearticles.com and other related websites.  This is exactly how you will draw visitors to your website like bees to honey. 

With free articles, the targeted traffic you generate is as good or better than any traffic you could pay for, except you don't have to pay for it!

The unique thing about writing articles is that others can use them on their websites or link to the articles from their site, this helps bring targeted traffic to your website.
