Tips for Increased Website Traffic ...and
more
If you have a busy life and other work obligations
there just simply isn't enough time to do all that is needed
for your business, however, learn to make a conscious effort to
do something each day, no matter how small.
Here's a good practical tip ...
Do at least one thing every day to give your business a
boost. Perhaps add something new and fresh to your website,
send out an informative email to your autoresponder, contact
one of the millions of website owners requesting a link, add a
catchy signature to your business name, check out a new tool,
etc..
I'm sure if you put your thinking cap on you could come up
with some creative ideas on your own, however the basic idea is
that no matter how small, do at least one thing every day for
the success of your business.

Tips for increased website
traffic ==============================================
There are lots of ways to get traffic to your site however
most people are interested in getting the most traffic for the
least amount of money, preferably for free.
While it's difficult to get anything for free nowadays there
are still a few good ways to help build your web traffic and
still pay nothing.
Build a second content-rich website.
Because content is king on the internet many have adopted
the idea of building a content-rich site in addition to
their original sales site.
If you set up your title, description and keyword tags
carefully and find a good balance for your keyword
saturation, you may be better able to achieve high search
engine rankings with a site that contains only good content and
information.
Once you have built your content-rich site you can then use
the content to point your viewers to your sales site.
Add an article page to your existing
site.
By adding article pages to your site you can point readers
of the articles to your sales page.
For example, let's say you have a website that sells quilts.
Set up a few article pages that reference quilts such as a page
on quilt making, quilt history, the best made quilts, etc.
Allow each of the articles to reference links to your sales
page.
This is a very good sales tactic because you've attracted
the attention of someone interested in quilts and now you can
give them a small nudge to buy.
Also, with proper meta tags and keyword usage, an article
page is much more likely to make it to the top of a search
engine listing than a sales page.
Build your links through reciprocal
linking
This is an absolute must if you are going to get traffic on
the web.
By establishing reciprocal links you are verifying to the
search engines that you have credibility. If high
ranking sites have you linked on their sites then the
search engines will find you worthy of high ranking too.
Your linking process should start with installing the google
toolbar http://toolbar.google.com/
The toolbar will display the Page rank for each site you
display.
When exchanging links remember to link only to sites
that will place your link on a page that is a PR 4 or
higher. Many people link to sites where the home page is
a PR4 or higher but the actual page they are listed on is less
than PR4, or worse yet a PR0.
Start a newsletter
Most people are afraid to publish a newsletter because they
don't like to write or feel they can't come up with original
content.
While your newsletter should offer information that people
are looking for, the information doesn't need to offer original
content from you.
Try finding articles or stories on the internet that you
think would be of interest to your readers. Then simply add the
title, name, author and brief description of the article in
your newsletter, then place a URL that points them to the
original article. Your readers will be happy for the
information and you'll be able to place ads in your newsletter
for your site and products that your readers will see.

TIPS ==============================================
Keep your website up and your costs down by employing a website
host that is not only reliable but pays you to refer
others.
There are literally thousands of website hosts out there and
they're not all created equal. You need a host that you
can depend on to keep your site up and running at all hours or
you may lose sales.
There are many hosts that offer very cheap rates, but
believe me, they're not all reliable and many have hidden
costs.
Evaluate them carefully and always get recommendations.
My favorite is Thirdsphere Hosting. It's been a life saver
for me --and it pays you when you refer others! A few
referrals and your monthly hosting costs could be free.
