Resell Rights
Getting
Started with your own Resell Rights
Business
I love resell rights! Many people
online are making a fortune online with them. That's because
resell rights are one of the easiest and most profitable online
businesses to have. There's no product for you to create and
most resell rights products comes with sales letters and
graphics so there's no part of the product or marketing
materials that you need to create yourself.
But how can you actually make money with Resell
rights?
There are 2 ways you can make money:
1. Buying Resell Rights - You can buy
the resell rights for someone else's product, sell it and keep
100% of the profit yourself or...
2. Selling Resell Rights - You can
sell the resell rights of a product to others who want to sell
the product and keep 100% of the profits.
The thing that makes resell rights so attractive is that you
pay once for a product and its resell rights and you can sell
it forever keeping 100% of the profits. You can sell e-books,
guides or software and make as little as $10 on an item or go
as high as $1000, it depends on the item.
Many people in the resell rights business find a 'how to'
niche and then find ebooks or software that show people how to
do something and resell the ebooks or software. This is a very
good business model and has wild potential for helping you earn
online, however there's even a better way to put resell rights
to good use, selling people a business! You can
actually sell people a business by using #2 above, selling the
resell rights.
Here's what I mean...
Selling resell rights is even more of a benefit because
you're not selling people on how to do something or teaching
them a skill you're selling them a business. By allowing them
to resell a product themselves they now have their own
business, and that's what most people want. They want to make
money with their very own online business. Selling resell
rights is perfect for that!
But before we go on, let's take a look at the different
resell rights options:
Basic Resell Rights This gives you the
right to resell a product and keep 100% of the profits, but
your customer does not have the right to resell it to someone
else. This refers to #1 above.
Master Resell Rights
You have the right to sell the product but you also have the
right to sell the resell rights, which means your customer can
buy the rights to resell it to their customers. You can bundle
the product to sell both the product and resell rights together
or you can sell them separately. This is referring to #2
above.
Private Label Rights (PLR)
With Resale rights and master resale rights packages you cannot
change the content in any way and there are generally some
restrictions on giving the packages away free and there may be
some pricing restrictions.
Private label rights on the other hand are more flexible.
You can change the content, add to it or edit the content for
creating articles, e-books or reports or for adding content to
your website or blog.
You often see PLR packages sold in the form of article
packs, but there are e-books and guides as well.
Usually with private label content there are a limited
number sold, this maintains the integrity of the content for
those that use it right out of the box, however private label
rights are much better utilized by customizing the content,
especially if you will be adding your own name to it.
Benefits of a Starting a Resell Rights
Business
1 You keep 100% of the profits. Gotta
love that!
2. You can also earn residual income
Some resell rights products will allow you to customize the
product by adding your own affiliate links allowing you to earn
back-end income. Not all products allow this and you must check
with the product creator on branding rights.
3. Resell rights is more appealing than affiliate
marketing I love affiliate marketing but most
online marketers find resell rights more appealing because the
ability to keep 100% of the profits, unlike affiliate programs
where you will only receive a percentage of the profits.
How to
get your resell right business going
Getting started with resell rights is not hard, however
there will be a small investment required, but relatively
speaking, it's minimal.
Here's what you need to do:
Find a resell rights package Don't just
look for any product that looks good. Look for things like
branding rights for affiliate links, how well the sales page
looks and examine the product, is it something you really
things is a worthwhile product?
Domain Name & Hosting Once you find
a resell rights product you will need a domain name, create a
website and find a web host. A domain name, depending on the
security you require will cost anywhere from $10 - $30 a year.
Hosting will cost about $10-$20 a month. My recommendations are
Godaddy for your domain name and
Hostgator for hosting; which is about
$15 a month.
Building a website isn't difficult. In fact your site will
only be required to have a few pages and with Wordpress site
builders you can build a site for free. I personally like
Xsitepro for easy site
creation, the choice is yours.
In summary
If you need more information on the nitty gritty and actual
step-by-step process on how to put this all together, Liz
Tomey and John Hostler have developed "Resale Rights for Newbies"
which has some of the best free videos, guides and
strategies that I've seen so far. I particularly
like the videos because they are much more helpful
than just text guides.
However, if you're already experienced with resell rights
and just looking for quality products to sell such
as software, scripts, MP3s, movies, content,
e-books, templates and more, SurefireWealth has hundreds of
quality resources for the picking.
